Our travel philosophy
We are not travel agents, but consultants: our aim is to design unique experiences fitting your travel style and personal interests. Our groups are always small usually around 8-10 people (under special circumstances we reach a maximum of 12 including kids) to be able to enjoy any experience as you would do sitting around a table.
We will be “a group” only during the time of transfers and during the experiences. Onbce they are finished everybody is free to go on his own or be together with whom and how they please.
The Japan gourmet tours are guided by experts of japanese food tradition and japanese culture. The guidance is provided during all main transfers, at hotel checkins and at the time of all experiences. Our leaders are available during all tours in a dedicated chat on Whatsapp or Messenger to assist for special needs/inquiries. A formula proven successful over the years to give to everyone peace of mind, insights and a rich experience and independence.

PRE-RESERVED TRAIN TICKETS* with guaranteed seating places €120,00 per person
- = paying this supplement we will buy and reserve your tickets at reservation (instead of traveling using JR PASS). With this option all and only the transfer of this tour will be included. Since we buy tickets and make seats reservations in advance you are 100%% sure to sit on all transfers. This option is for those who can’t accept any stranding transfer. (Traveling with JR Pass, in fact, it’s a little cheaper but allows you to make reservations only once you are in Japan. In many years we have always traveled with the desired trains, but a few times during high season festivities, not everyone could find a seating place and someone had to travel standing for some short periods.)
Dates are confirmed and wont’ change. It is possible to extend the tour before or after these dates. Please contact us asap to stay in the same hotels. Before the publishing of the final program (around December 15th) some of the experiences could change day (for example the Tea Ceremony could be the last instead of the first day…) or be replaced with similar and identical value experiences due to unpredictable events. Any variation will be promptly communicated through our website and via email. After the release of the final program no changes will be made.
